Choosing the Detector Grade
Grade A (−70 to +6 dBm) is the sensitive detector for measuring weak signals at the end of high-split PON drops. Grade B (−50 to +26 dBm) trades the low end for headroom on strong signals near transmitters and amplifiers.
Suffix 1 is the dry-cell version, suffix 2 the rechargeable Li-ion version that tops up from any USB source — a power bank in the van counts.
