How the K-MK02 Strips a Round Cable
Set the blade first: turn the knurled screw until the blade depth matches the jacket thickness — enough to cut the insulation, never enough to reach the core. Lay the cable between the blade and the spring-loaded gripping arm, which presses it into the cut.
Turn the tool clockwise around the cable and the blade scores a clean ring. Press the push button and the blade rotates 90 degrees in its head; draw the tool along the cable and the same blade makes the lengthwise slit. Ring plus slit, and the jacket section pulls away by hand.
Stubborn insulation gets the third option: a ripping blade stored in the base of the handle, released by a button, made for tearing through coverings the main blade struggles with. Two blade profiles cover the range — the spherical blade fitted as standard for softer insulation, and an optional chisel point for harder coverings.
