- Fusion-welded FC termination — the joint is a weld, sealed by the shrink sleeve
- 55 mm body in FC/APC (green) and FC/UPC (blue)
- Factory-polished 2.5 mm ceramic ferrules
- Insertion loss typical ≤0.3 dB after fusion; return loss ≥55 dB UPC and ≥60 dB APC
- Pairs with the mechanical FC fast connector KW-03 — fused where a splicer is present, fast where it is not

How It Works — FC with a factory-grade joint
KW-06 gives FC the splice-on treatment: weld the field fiber to the connector stub in any standard splicer, shrink the sleeve, and the threaded FC end is a factory-quality termination built at the bench or in the exchange.
It serves the same stubborn FC installed base as KW-03 — instruments, legacy transmission and industrial kit — for crews who prefer a fused joint.

Can the KW-06 carry our own brand?
