How It Works — the wipe behind every clean splice
Most splice loss and most connector damage start as dirt. The bench routine is unglamorous and absolute: wipe the bare fiber after stripping, wipe every ferrule end face before it mates, and never reuse a wipe — a used sheet just moves the dirt around. KW-280 is that wipe: a soft, low-lint delicate task tissue that lifts dust and residue without scratching the glass or the polish.
The pop-up box is part of the system. Sheets present one at a time, stay clean inside the box between pulls, and the box survives the van, the cabinet and the exchange floor. Pair the wipes with a one-click pen for ferrules in adapters and with the cleaning box for cassette-style cleaning — each method covers the spots the others cannot reach.
