K-CX2 or K-CX59 — Which Compression Tool
Both tools press F-type compression connectors the same way. The K-CX2 is the compact fixed-stroke tool for the everyday RG6 and RG59 work that makes up most installation days. The larger K-CX59 adds an adjustable plunger for different connector brands and stretches to RG11 feeder cable.
Rule of thumb: drops and in-home work — K-CX2. Mixed connector brands or RG11 on the ticket — K-CX59. Many crews carry both: the compact tool lives in the pouch, the big one in the van.
